The 14u bats were on fire this week. The team went 4-2-1, but one bat, in particular, was lights out, Benny Lemieux.
Lemieux has been a significant force for this team all summer. During the week, the power hitter went 9-13 with three doubles, one triple, and four RBI's. When a player puts up those kinds of numbers, that's one thing, but when they do it and help the team win ball games, that's a big deal. Enormous contribution out of Ben Lemieux to this baseball team this week brings him the player of the week honors.
